Electrical Supply Materials and Transformers Tender by IESCO

Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) invites electronic bids for the year 2026-27 for procurement of various electrical materials and pad-mounted transformers on free delivery basis to IESCO regional stores in Rawalpindi, Islamabad and Rajjar. The tender encompasses 14 line items including 63 KVA to 630 KVA single phase and pad-mounted transformers ranging from 20 to 150 units, PVC cables in various specifications totaling 75-150 kilometers, straight joint kits and termination kits for single and three-core installations, and PVC joint kits. The total bid security requirement ranges from PKR 30,000 to PKR 3,000,000 depending on the item, with the overall procurement value representing substantial investment in electrical infrastructure development and maintenance across Federal Territory.

Eligibility is restricted to firms and manufacturers registered with DISCOs, PPMC, WAPDA, NGC (formerly NTDC) and FBR with valid prototype approval where applicable. Bidders must submit sealed bid security or guarantees in original form as Bank Guarantee or CDR issued by scheduled banks of Pakistan, valid for 28 to 88 days beyond bid validity. Bid security requirements are specified individually for each tender lot and must be in favor of the Chief Executive Officer IESCO Islamabad. Full quantity bids are mandatory; partial bids will not be accepted. Prices must be firm and final on DDP basis without foreign exchange involvement.

Bid documents are available exclusively through E-PAK Acquisition and Disposal System (E-PADS) portal at www.epads.gov.pk where all mandatory information must be uploaded. The tender will be opened on 28 July 2026 from 10:30 AM at IESCO Head Office G-7/4 Street No. 40, Islamabad in the presence of authorized representatives.
