Supply of Transformers, Cables and Electrical Accessories by IESCO for 2026-27

Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) invites electronic bids for the financial year 2026-27 for the supply of electrical materials and equipment on free delivery basis to IESCO Regional Stores in Rawalpindi, Islamabad and Rajjar. The tender encompasses procurement of 63 KVA, 100 KVA, 400 KVA and 630 KVA pad mounted transformers, PVC cables of various specifications including 120mm², 70mm² and 1/C, 70mm² types, straight joint kits for 500MCM and 4/0 AWG single core applications, termination kits for 4/0 AWG three core and single core configurations both indoor and outdoor types, and PVC joint kits of different core capacities. The total bid security amounts range from PKR 30,000 to PKR 3,000,000 depending on the item category, with quantities varying from 5 to 2,500 units across different product lines. This is a substantial procurement exercise aimed at supporting the distribution infrastructure of Islamabad and surrounding regions.

Bidders must be registered with DISCOs, PPMC, WAPDA, NGC (formerly NTDC) or FBR and must possess valid prototype approval where applicable. Only firms and manufacturers meeting these criteria are eligible to submit bids. Bid security must be submitted as Bank Guarantee or CDR issued by any scheduled bank of Pakistan with a minimum credit rating of A or above, in favor of the Chief Executive Officer IESCO Islamabad. The bid validity period differs by tender lot: 60 days for tender numbers 32 to 35 and 36 to 38, and 120 days for tender numbers 39 to 45. All prices must be firm and final on DDP basis without involving foreign exchange, quoted inclusive of all applicable taxes and duties as per law, with GST reimbursable on submission of original invoices.

Bids must be submitted electronically through the E-PAK Acquisition and Disposal System (E-PADS) portal at www.epads.gov.pk with all mandatory documentation as required in bidding documents. The tender will be opened on 28 July 2026 from 10:30 AM onwards at IESCO Head Office, G-7/4 Street No. 40, Islamabad, in the presence of authorized representatives of bidders. Tender opening will be conducted on single stage one envelope basis. All materials supplied must conform to relevant WAPDA/NTDC specifications as amended to date. In case of government-announced holidays or office closure, the tender opening will be rescheduled to the next working day at the same time and venue.
