Disposal of Scrap Empty Transformer Bodies by MEPCO Ltd Multan

Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) Limited, operating under the Office of the Director (Procurement) District MEPCO Limited, invites sealed e-auction bids on an as-is-where-is basis for the disposal of unserviceable and scrap transformer materials. This tender (Reference 53/27) covers the sale of empty transformer bodies in various kVA ratings, including 10 KVA, 15 KVA, 25 KVA, 50 KVA, 100 KVA, 200 KVA, and 400 KVA units, with a total of 85 units available for disposal. The scrap materials are currently stored at MEPCO Regional Store Sahiwal in Punjab province. The estimated value of earnest money is PKR 45,000, and the tender process will be conducted through the EPADS 2.0 e-procurement platform on an open auction procedure basis.

Interested bidders must register themselves on the EPADS portal to participate in this e-auction. Bid security or earnest money in the original form, such as a CDR or Pay Order issued by any scheduled bank of Pakistan, must be submitted in favour of the Chief Executive Officer MEPCO Multan before the e-bid submission deadline. The bid security should be clearly marked with the tender number and submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to the Director (Procurement) at MEPCO Khanewal Road, Multan. The e-bids will be opened publicly on 30 July 2026 at 11:30 hours in the office of the Director (Procurement) District MEPCO Khanewal Road Multan, in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives who wish to attend.
