For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
MEPCO is liquidating 85 transformer bodies (10–400 kVA units) stored in Sahiwal as scrap.
This is a one-off e-auction disposal, not a supply contract. Scale is moderate; bidders should assess transport/logistics costs from Sahiwal and metal recovery value. The as-is-where-is clause shifts inspection responsibility to buyers. Tight deadline (mid-2026) and e-procurement platform dependency require early EPADS registration.
Who can bid: PEC registration not explicitly stated; this is an asset disposal auction, not construction work. Typically, Pakistani registered businesses (NTN/SECP) can bid on EPADS. CDR or Pay Order from a scheduled bank required. No specific vendor category restrictions mentioned; likely open to scrap dealers, transformer refurbishers, and metal recyclers.
