Pakistan Ordnance Factories invites sealed quotations for the supply of indigenous materials and supplies under Tender Enquiry No. 0148/LP/CMC/56/P-B. This procurement is for various materials required by POF and is open to eligible suppliers across Punjab province. Quotations must be submitted electronically through the official e-bidding portal www.ebidding.pof.gov.pk before 30 minutes prior to the tender opening scheduled for 10 August 2026 at 12:00 hours at the Bid Centre adjacent to Rabita Hall, POFs Wah Cantt. The tender follows Single Stage two-envelope methodology for open competitive bidding as per PPRA Rule 36(b), with technical and commercial evaluation conducted strictly according to PPRA guidelines. Contract award will be made to the most advantageous bidder.
Eligibility criteria require suppliers to be registered with relevant taxation authorities and furnish proof of cleared professional taxes through an Excise and Taxation department certificate. Bid security is mandatory and varies based on firm registration status: registered/indexed firms must provide 2 percent of quoted value up to Rs. 0.5 million, registered/unindexed firms 3 percent up to Rs. 0.75 million, and unregistered firms 5 percent up to Rs. 1.0 million. Government organizations and state-owned enterprises may request waiver of Rs. 0.50 million bid security through DG(C). A non-refundable tender fee of Rs. 500 must accompany all offers via crossed postal order payable to Director-Admin-POFs, Wah Cantt. Performance bond equal to 10 percent of contract value is required from successful bidders upon award.
Quotations for materials must include prices in column 5 and delivery dates in column 7 of the schedule. Delivery should be on F.O.R. basis at station of dispatch, inclusive of packing and forwarding charges, with free delivery at POFs stores in Wah Cantt. Quotations must remain valid for minimum 90 days from tender opening date and should hold good for any quantity variations. All applicable taxes and duties must be quoted separately with proper registration references. Bid documents can be accessed through the e-bidding portal. Tender opening will occur at Bid Centre, Rabita Hall, POFs Wah Cantt on 10 August 2026, and bidders or their authorized representatives may witness the opening upon request.
