Installation of Weighbridge at Gabd Border Terminal by NLC

National Logistics Corporation invites sealed bids for civil and mechanical works pertaining to the installation and operationalization of one weighbridge at Gabd Border Terminal, District Gwadar. The scope of work includes earth filling up to 5 feet, preparation of foundation pits, construction of RCC foundation, approach ramps on both sides, and pit walls for a weighbridge measuring 60 feet by 13 feet with a weighing capacity of at least 150 tons, along with drainage arrangements and pit protection work. Mechanical works encompass installation, leveling and precision alignment of the weighbridge platform and load cells, installation of junction boxes, signal cabling, indicator units and control room equipment, mechanical fitting and structural assembly, calibration and load testing in accordance with applicable Weights and Measures standards, and final testing, trial run and commissioning prior to handover. Bidders must demonstrate experience in civil and mechanical works with weighbridge installation experience preferred. Tender awards will be based on bidder experience, lowest bid submission, financial strength, and expertise in civil, mechanical and instrumentation technical skills. Bidders are responsible for arranging all materials including cement, steel, aggregate and shuttering, labor, tools, plant and machinery, mechanical fittings, calibration equipment and all other resources required for execution. Bidders must also be responsible for quality of workmanship, execution strictly in accordance with approved drawings and specifications within given timeframes under supervision of NLC staff, and are liable for any defects, damage or loss occurring during execution, testing or until final handover. All site arrangements, permits, NOCs, local taxes and execution-related expenses are the bidder's responsibility.
