Description / Scope of Work
The Communication & Works Department Astore invites sealed single-stage open envelope (SSOE) bids for the construction of three wooden bridges at Dashkin over Astore River in Dichel, Astore, Gilgit-Baltistan. The project scope includes the construction of a 200 feet suspension bridge shelter at Dashkin Astore River (Part-I). The tender inquiry number is EE-Cash-Ast-1(02)/2025-26/180 dated 9th April 2026, with PPRA reference TSE-202604092481. The estimated project value is approximately 2.13 crore Pakistani rupees, representing a significant infrastructure development for the remote Astore region.
Bidders must be qualified contractors with relevant experience in bridge construction and civil engineering works. All participating contractors are required to submit technical credentials and financial proposals as per Standard Bidding Documents (SBD). Technical evaluation marks and financial qualification criteria are detailed in the bidding documents. Bidders must attach the required Contractor Detailed Record (CDR) and other mandatory documentation to avoid rejection. Government contractors with prior procurement experience are preferred.
Bid documents are available from the Communication & Works Department Astore office. Sealed bids were closed on 28th April 2026 at 10:30 AM with opening scheduled for 11:00 AM on the same date. Eligible bidders must submit their bids in two separate envelopes containing technical and financial proposals respectively. The final evaluation was completed on 16th July 2026, and M/S Ikramullah & Brothers Builders PVT Ltd was approved as the most advantageous bidder by the competent authority.
