Supply of Lab Kits & Chemical Items by Social Security Hospital Jauharabad

The Social Security Hospital (SSH), Jauharabad, operating under The Punjab Employees' Social Security Institution, invites bids through the E-Procurement System from pharmaceutical manufacturers and sole agents of foreign principals registered with the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority for a framework contract on an item-wise basis to supply various laboratory kits and chemical items during the financial year 2026-27. The procurement is for the provision of essential lab supplies including blood bags, blood grouping kits, screening devices approved by WHO/UNICEF/DRAP for HIV, HCV, HBsAg, VDRL and malaria testing, clinical diagnostic grade analytical reagents, specialized kits and chemicals from recognized manufacturers such as Bio-Rad, Merck, Roche and Abbott, along with supporting materials such as cold chain components and sealed packaging. The estimated cost of procurement is Rs. 30,00,000/- and the supplies are to be delivered on a FOR basis at the hospital's location in Jauharabad, Punjab.

Bidders must be registered with the E-Procurement System PPRA and must not be blacklisted by PPRA or PESSI/SSH Jauharabad. All participating firms are required to submit bid security equivalent to two percent of the total quoted bid value in the form of a CDR, bank guarantee, demand draft, or pay order exclusively through the Bank of Punjab to the office of the Medical Superintendent on or before the closing date. The scanned copy of the bid security must be uploaded along with the electronic bid on the E-Procurement System. Procurement shall be conducted in accordance with the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 as amended and the E-Procurement System regulations, following a Single Stage Two Envelopes bidding procedure as specified in Rule 38(2)(a) of the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority Rules 2014.

Interested bidders may download complete bidding documents with detailed specifications and instructions from the PPRA website, PESSI website and the E-Procurement System portal. Electronic bids in readable scanned format must be uploaded on the E-Procurement System by 29th July 2026 at 08:30 AM, with bid opening scheduled for the same day at 09:00 AM. Failure to submit original bid security within the prescribed timeframe shall render the bid liable to rejection.
