Description / Scope of Work
Mayo Hospital Lahore invites walk-in registration of eligible vendors and operational pharmacies holding valid drug sale licenses (FORM 9) for the financial year 2026-2027. This bidding document covers local purchase of medicines, surgical disposables, and implants on a day-to-day basis to meet immediate requirements of indoor and emergency patients during gaps in bulk procurement. The procurement follows Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 (amended) and is processed through the Punjab Information Technology Board's PITB online LPDD portal. Registered vendors must maintain a minimum discount of 10% for national firms and 6% for multinational firms on medicines with MRP fixed by DRAP, and 15% on surgical disposables. The pharmacy location must be within 10 kilometres radius of Mayo Hospital Lahore, though this radius may be extended up to 20 kilometres upon justification to the Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Department.
Eligibility criteria require applicants to possess a valid drug sale license (FORM 9) for the financial year 2026-27 and operate within the specified geographic radius. Registration is valid until 30th September each year and must be renewed annually upon submission of written application and fulfilment of prevailing eligibility criteria and satisfactory past performance. The hospital LPDD vendor registration committee will evaluate applications and complete registration within two weeks. Conditional applications will be rejected. At least five or more registered LPDD vendors must participate in online bidding for cost effectiveness and competition purposes.
Complete registration documents are available for free download from the PPRA website (www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk) and Mayo Hospital Lahore's official website (www.mayohospital.gop.pk) without any cost or fee. Applications for registration must be submitted on Punjab e-Procurement System (eP) on dates and times specified in newspaper advertisements. The applications will be opened by the notified committee as per advertised schedule in the presence of applicants or their authorized representatives. Upon successful registration, the Punjab Information Technology Board will issue Login and Password credentials within seven days, enabling vendors to participate in subsequent online biddings. Registered vendors must comply with minimum terms and conditions for supply as detailed in Annex-B of the bidding document.
