Replacement and Installation of Lifts in Emergency and Gynaecology Block, Services Hospital Lahore

The Punjab Building Department (Central Zone) invites sealed bids for the replacement and installation of lifts in the Emergency and Gynaecology Block of Services Hospital, Lahore under PPRA Rule 38 Single Stage Two Envelope procedure. The project scope comprises provision of two bed lifts with 1600-kg capacity and one passenger lift with 1000-kg capacity. The estimated cost is Rs. 53,500,000 with a contract duration of four months. This tender is open to PEC-enlisted specialized lift contractors and distributors in the relevant category ME03 for the financial year 2026-27.

Eligibility is restricted to authorized dealers and distributors in Pakistan of known international lift manufacturers including Mitsubishi (Japan), Schindler (Spain), Doppler (Greece/Western Europe), Sodimas (France/Western Europe), Otis (USA), Orona (Spain), Imem (Spain), Express (UK), LGV (Italy), Kone (Finland), and Thyson (Germany) or equivalent. Bidders must produce original PEC license with relevant specialization codes and original dealership certificates from manufacturers for the year 2026-27, authenticated by the Embassy of the country of origin. Earnest money of 5% of estimated cost (Rs. 2,675,000) must be submitted as CDR, bank draft, or cashier's cheque of any scheduled bank.

E-bids must be submitted online on the Punjab e-Procurement System at https://ep.punjab.gov.pk. The bid submission deadline is 12 August 2026 at 11:00 A.M., with bid opening at 11:30 A.M. on the same date. Original bid security instruments must be submitted in a clearly marked envelope to the Office of Executive Engineer, 1st Buildings Division, PWD Compound, Mecload Road, Lahore before the submission deadline. Bidders should upload their bids well before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues. Conditional tenders and tenders without earnest money will be rejected.
