The Cantonment Board Peshawar, under the Military Lands & Cantonments Department, is conducting a public design auction for shops and offices within the Horizon Plaza Phase-1 commercial development on Bara Road in Peshawar Cantt. This modern commercial plaza is under construction in one of Peshawar's busiest commercial areas, with construction work progressing rapidly toward completion within 365 days. The auction will take place on 17 August 2026 at 11 a.m. at the Cantonment Board Office, Captain Abdul Jalil Road, Peshawar Cantt, and is open to the general public, traders, businessmen and interested parties seeking commercial tenancy on a monthly rent basis.
Phase-1 comprises three floors: a basement with 30-vehicle parking capacity, a ground floor containing 21 shops (ranging from 182.83 to 520.55 square feet with fixed refundable securities between Rs 2.00 and 6.00 million), and a first floor with 10 residential flats (ranging from 227.32 to 1652.00 square feet with securities between Rs 0.01 and 0.05 million). Prospective bidders must submit the call deposit amount specified for each unit through any bank in favor of the Cantonment Board Executive Officer, along with NTN registration and a copy of the CNIC, at the Cantonment Board Office prior to bidding participation. The initial tenancy agreement term is ten years, extendable for a further twenty years subject to Cantonment Board approval; upon completion of a maximum thirty-year tenancy period, the shop or flat shall be re-auctioned.
The auction will be conducted according to Military Lands & Cantonments Department Rawalpindi letter No. 40/8/F&B/ML&C/2003-VI dated 03-09-2024 on fixed refundable security basis, where monthly rent of shops and flats will be auctioned. All call deposits except those of the first and second highest bidders will be refunded. Interested bidders should obtain the complete auction notice containing detailed terms and conditions from the Cantonment Board Office and submit their bids by the specified deadline on auction day.
