Food and Supplies Pre-qualification by Muzaffarabad Physical Rehabilitation Centre

Muzaffarabad Physical Rehabilitation Centre invites pre-qualification of suppliers under Rule 16(4) of AJ&K PPRA Rules 2017 for a one-year framework contract covering July 2026 to June 2027. The procurement encompasses seven commodity lots: dry food items (PKR 1.85 million), eggs (PKR 0.20 million), fresh vegetables (PKR 0.35 million), roti (PKR 1.20 million), boneless beef (PKR 0.35 million), chicken broiler (PKR 0.40 million), and housing and cleaning materials (PKR 0.40 million). The total contract value is approximately PKR 4.75 million. The centre is located in Muzaffarabad, AJ&K, and seeks financially stable suppliers capable of meeting food and maintenance requirements for the rehabilitation facility throughout the contract period.

Eligibility requires bidders to be financially stable suppliers or firms with no blacklist status. Pre-qualification will follow the Single Stage One Envelope Procedure under Rule 36(A) of AJ&K PPRA Rules. Bid security or earnest money must accompany the financial proposal for each lot, ranging from PKR 6,000 for eggs to PKR 72,000 for chicken broiler. Failure to submit the required bid security results in automatic disqualification. The procurement committee reserves discretion to accept or reject quotations in accordance with AJ&K PPRA rules.

Tender documents are available from the MPRC admin section upon payment of PKR 100 non-refundable fee until 12 August 2026 during working hours. Proposals must be submitted by 13 August 2026 at 10:00 hours and will be opened the same day at 11:00 hours in the presence of suppliers or their authorised representatives.
