Sealed quotations are invited from qualified and experienced contractors for comprehensive waterproofing works on a building roof and rectification of the existing rainwater drainage system in the Federal region. The scope encompasses detailed roof inspection, removal of damaged waterproofing materials, surface cleaning, concrete crack and joint repairs, application of approved primer, installation of high-quality waterproofing membrane or system suitable for local climatic conditions, treatment of expansion joints, parapet walls, pipe penetrations and equipment bases, complete waterproofing around drainage outlets, and flood testing with repair of any identified leakage. The contractor must supply all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, transportation, testing and commissioning required to complete works in accordance with the tender document within 30 calendar days from commencement.
The rainwater drainage rectification component requires inspection of the complete drainage network, cleaning of all roof drains, downpipes, gutters and outlets, removal of blockages and debris, correction of improper slopes causing water ponding, repair or replacement of damaged gutters and pipes, installation of additional outlets if required, and water flow testing to ensure free drainage from roof to discharge point. Works are considered complete only after successful testing and acceptance by the employer.
