This is an annual equipment procurement tender for a federal cardiology institute covering two Punjab facilities.
The scope encompasses multiple categories of medical and laboratory equipment with a 2% bid security requirement. The tender follows a single-stage two-envelope procedure with electronic submission mandatory. Notably, the advertisement indicates four concurrent procurement categories (equipment purchase, plant and machinery, equipment repair, and machinery repair), suggesting substantial aggregate value. Bidders should note the tight 8-day window between publication and closing, and a pre-bid meeting scheduled 7 days before submission deadline for clarifications.
Who can bid: Bidders must hold current tax registration with relevant Government of Pakistan tax departments. Typically, suppliers must possess valid NTN (National Tax Number) and either PEC registration if they provide construction/engineering services, or SECP registration if incorporated. The notice specifies no sector-specific restrictions but requires bidders to meet PPRA compliance standards as an eligible entity.
