Description / Scope of Work
Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology invites electronic bids for the annual repair and maintenance of plant and machinery at RIC Rawalpindi and NSCC Samli Murree for the financial year 2026-27. The tender covers comprehensive maintenance and repair services for mechanical and electrical equipment across both facilities located in Rawalpindi and Murree. Detailed specifications, quantities, and service requirements are provided in the complete bidding documents available for download from the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority website, Punjab E-Procurement System, and the RIC official website.
Eligible bidders must possess a valid National ID Card, current National Tax Number, General Sale Tax certificate, and Professional Tax certificate. Bidders must demonstrate minimum one year of verifiable experience in supplies to government or autonomous institutions. Technical proposals must be submitted on company letterhead without any price mention; inclusion of pricing in the technical bid will result in disqualification. Bid security of 2 percent of the estimated price must be submitted through the Punjab E-Procurement System in the form of bank draft, bank guarantee, call deposit receipt, demand draft, pay order, or banker's cheque in the name of Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology. An affidavit on 20-rupee stamp paper confirming the bidder's commitment to provide the required services is mandatory.
Bidding documents are available immediately after publication on http://ppra.punjab.gov.pk, https://ep.punjab.gov.pk, and www.ric.gop.pk. Electronic bids must be submitted online on or before 29 August 2026 at 10:00 AM on the Punjab E-Procurement System. Bids will be opened the same day at 10:30 AM in the presence of bidders' representatives at the Purchase Office of RIC Rawalpindi. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 22 August 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Purchase Office. Bid validity is 180 days from the opening date.
