Description / Scope of Work
Tehsil Head Quarter Hospital Kahuta, under the Health & Population Department of the Government of Punjab, invites electronic bids for a framework contract to supply pathology services and laboratory items for the financial year 2026–2027. The estimated cost is PKR 2,500,000 (2.5 million). This is a local purchase contract for laboratory consumables and related pathology services required to support the hospital's diagnostic operations in Kahuta, Rawalpindi district. The contract framework will establish unit rates and terms for supply throughout the fiscal year, with quantities to be called off as needed by the procuring agency.
Eligible bidders must be registered on the Punjab e-procurement system, maintain active taxpayer status with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), and hold valid National Tax Number (NTN) and Sales Tax registration certificates. Bidders must not be blacklisted by the procuring agency and should not have been engaged in preparing specifications or designs for this procurement. Government-owned enterprises may participate only if legally and financially autonomous and operating under commercial law. Bid security of 2 percent of the estimated cost must be submitted in the form of a CDR, pay order, or demand draft from a Scheduled Bank of Pakistan, made payable to the Medical Superintendent, THQ Hospital Kahuta.
Bidding documents are available free of cost from the Punjab e-procurement portal at https://ep.punjab.gov.pk and the Procurement Regulatory Authority website at www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk. Bids must be submitted electronically only through the Punjab e-procurement system by 10:00 AM on 28 August 2026. Bid opening will occur at 10:30 AM on the same date in the office of the Medical Superintendent, with bidder representatives welcome to attend. All bids must include uploaded NTN and Sales Tax registration certificates prior to opening.
