Description / Scope of Work
The Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi, is requesting quotations for the supply and installation of furniture for classroom upgradation across multiple campus locations in Karachi, Sindh Province. The procurement includes six Faculty Tables (4'-0" x 2'-0" x 2'-6" high) with 20mm laminated MDF board tops and powder-coated M.S. legs, five Acrylic Finish Rostrums (1'-6" x 1'-6" x 4'-0" high) equipped with heavy-duty wheels, and six Foldable Round Tables with M.S. tube framing and oak veneer tops. All items are to be installed at designated locations including Adamjee, Aman CED, and Tabba classroom and seminar rooms on the IBA Main Campus, University Road, Karachi. Delivery must be completed to the Stores at IBA Main Campus.
Bidders must provide quotations strictly in accordance with specifications and drawings provided. Material is subject to final inspection at the time of delivery, and IBA reserves the right to cancel any items if materials do not comply with specifications or if delivery is delayed. General Sales Tax will be applied to applicable items only, and stamp duty of 0.35% will be levied on the total purchase order value. Advance payments are subject to Bank Guarantee, and liquidity damage at the rate of 2% per month will be imposed for delayed delivery. IBA retains the right to accept or reject any quotation and to award items individually to the lowest responsive bidders.
Quotations must be submitted to the Purchase Department, IBA Main Campus, University Road, Karachi, by 27 August 2026 at 11:00 AM. A site visit is scheduled for Monday, 24 August 2026 at 3:00 PM at IBA Main Campus to enable bidders to inspect the locations and understand requirements. Invoices and bills must be submitted to the Purchase Department, and payment will be made through crossed cheque following receipt of documentation and delivery of items.
