Description / Scope of Work
The Government Wood Working Service Centre Rawalpindi, operating under the Technical Education & Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) of Punjab, invites prequalification applications from manufacturers, fabricators, suppliers, firms and goods transporters for the financial year 2026-27. This prequalification exercise aims to develop an approved vendor list for procurement of goods and services across four key categories: furniture manufacturers for finished and semi-finished furniture items, general order suppliers for general store items, fabricators specialising in composite steel furniture and related components, and transportation service providers. The scope encompasses supply of pipe material, wooden and metal furniture components, plastic furniture components, raw materials, hardware, board material, paint materials, foam and various consumable items as required throughout the financial year. Applicants must be registered with Sales Tax, Income Tax and PRA Punjab departments where applicable.
Eligible manufacturers, fabricators, suppliers and firms must demonstrate adequate experience in their respective categories and maintain current registrations with relevant federal and provincial tax authorities. All applicants are required to pay a prequalification fee of Rs. 20,000 (non-refundable) in the form of bank draft, pay order or CDR, submitted with their applications. Complete prequalification documents will be available free of cost from the PPRA Punjab website and TEVTA website immediately following publication of this notice. The prequalification process operates under PPRA (Public Procurement Regulatory Authority) rules and guidelines.
Applications must be submitted online through the Punjab e-Procurement System at https://ep.punjab.gov.pk on or before Thursday, September 3, 2026 by 11:00 AM. Incomplete or late submissions will not be considered. Applications will be opened on the same day at 12:00 PM.
