Description / Scope of Work
The Office of Superintendent Electricity and Operations Division, Muzaffarabad, AJK, invites sealed tenders for the supply, loading and delivery of electrical materials and equipment to divisional stores in Muzaffarabad during the financial year 2026-27 under the normal budget and development schemes. The tender covers a comprehensive range of items including high tension and low tension conductors (both bare and insulated), power transformers ranging from 25 KVA to 630 KVA, energy meters (single and three-phase), PVC cable, transformer oil, wire, and other electrical apparatus. The materials are to be sourced from the central store in Rampoora and transported to the divisional store. This is a rate contract procurement issued by the Electricity and Operations Division, the provincial utility authority responsible for power distribution infrastructure in the region.
Eligibility requirements mandate that participating firms must obtain bidding documents from the office during working hours on or before 7 September 2026 by submitting Rs. 2,000 for the document cost. A bid security in the form of a demand draft or pay order valued at Rs. 40,000 must accompany each tender. Bidders must declare that their firm has not been blacklisted by any government department or agency in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and must provide certified copies of relevant authorization documents and identity cards. Firms are prohibited from subletting or assigning work, and the contractor must execute the contract personally. Previous performance certificates from government departments where the firm has worked are mandatory; failure to provide these will result in rejection of the bidding documents.
Tenders must be submitted in sealed envelopes under single-stage, one-envelope procedure and will be opened on 8 September 2026 at 10:00 AM in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. Bidding documents are available at the office of the Superintendent, Electricity and Operations Division, Muzaffarabad, during office hours up to 7 September 2026. The rates submitted by successful tenderers will remain valid from the financial year 2026-27 through 30 June 2027.
