Description / Scope of Work
The Veterinary Research Institute, Lahore Cantt invites electronic bids on the Punjab E-Procurement System for the supply of Glass Bottle 100ml Complete Sets in the quantity of 500,000 units for the financial year 2026-27. This procurement is valued at approximately 25.70 million Pakistani rupees and is part of a broader tender notice covering six different laboratory items required by VRI's various research divisions. The delivery period is 60 days from issuance of the purchase order, with the contract to be executed under Government of Punjab financing for non-development purposes in Punjab province.
Bidders must be registered on the Punjab E-Procurement System and with the FBR Sales Tax Department, with valid Sales Tax and NTN numbers printed on both technical and financial proposals. Professional tax proof for the current financial year must accompany the technical proposal, and bidders must submit a non-blacklisting affidavit on verifiable stamp paper confirming authenticity of documents and commitment to provide replacements for defective supplies at no cost. Bid security of 2 percent of the total estimated cost, in the form of CDR, Banker's Cheque, or Bank Guarantee payable to the Director VRI Lahore, must be submitted with the technical bid.
Bid documents are available free of cost from the Punjab E-Procurement System and PPRA website. All electronic bids must be submitted through the Punjab E-Procurement System by 11:00 AM on 07 September 2026, with opening scheduled for 11:30 AM on the same date at VRI Lahore. Upon tender acceptance, a 5 percent performance guarantee will be required before supply order award. The procurement process is governed by PPRA Rules 2014 as amended to date.
