For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
PSO is seeking four explosion-proof exhaust fans (three for Peshawar, one for Skardu) meeting strict ATEX zone-1 hazardous area specifications with 2330+ m³/hour capacity.
This is a straightforward one-off procurement of specialized safety equipment for aviation fuel handling facilities. The ninety-day delivery window is reasonable but inspections and payment only upon acceptance mean cash-flow timing should be planned carefully. Genuine OEM certification and mill test certificates are mandatory. Vendors without ATEX certification capability or relevant hazardous-area fan expertise need not bid.
Who can bid: Vendors must supply ATEX-rated, zone-1 certified explosion-proof fans from original equipment manufacturers. Typically, Pakistani vendors bidding on such safety-critical equipment require appropriate national registration (NTN), valid business registration with SECP or relevant provincial authority, and preferably prior experience in hazardous-area ventilation supply. The notice does not restrict eligibility to local vendors only.
