Description / Scope of Work
King Edward Medical University, Lahore invites sealed bids from manufacturers, authorized distributors and well-reputed firms for the procurement of material for JCAT examination under PPRA Rules 2014, 38(2)a, for the financial year 2026-27. The procurement is on a free delivery to consignee's end basis and covers computer stationery relevant items required for examination purposes. Bidders must be registered with sales tax and income tax departments with active professional tax for the current financial year. The estimated value and detailed specifications are available in the bidding documents.
Eligible bidders include manufacturers, distributors, retailers and authorized agents with sound financial position and experience in supplying examination materials and computer stationery items. A bid security of 2 percent of estimated value in the form of a cash deposit receipt (CDR) or bank guarantee in the name of the Vice Chancellor KEMU is mandatory and must be submitted with the technical proposal. Bidders must mention the brand name, provide original documents, and meet the 180-day bid validity requirement. Offers from blacklisted, suspended or previously problematic firms will be rejected.

Tenders should be addressed to the Vice Chancellor, King Edward Medical University, Lahore, and submitted to the Senior Purchase Office, Patiala Block, KEMU, Lahore by the date specified in the tender notice. Bids will be opened through the PPRA ePADS online portal on 08/09/2026 at 10:30 am in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. A single-stage two-envelope procedure will be used with technical proposal evaluated first, followed by financial proposal evaluation after technical clearance.
