Description / Scope of Work
DHQ Hospital Nankana Sahib, under the Health & Population Department of the Government of the Punjab, invites electronic bids from eligible suppliers for the procurement of diverse medical and consumable items for the financial year 2026-27. The procurement encompasses ten categories of goods: office stationary items, X-ray films and chemicals, blood bank items, laboratory kits and chemicals, dental materials and medicines, bedding and linen items, general store items, medical gases, medical surgical and disposable items for dialysis, and information technology items. All supplies are to be delivered on a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) basis to Nankana Sahib, Punjab. This is a framework contract arrangement designed to ensure regular availability of essential hospital consumables and equipment throughout the fiscal year.
The procurement is conducted through a Single Stage Two Envelopes bidding procedure in accordance with Rule 38(2)(a) of the Punjab Procurement Rules, 2014 (as amended). Eligible bidders must submit a bid security of 2% per item as per Rule 27 of PPRA Rules. All original certificates of deposit (CDR) or bank drafts serving as bid security, along with required affidavits and supporting documents, must be physically received at the Procurement Branch before the closing deadline. Bidders are required to submit samples of each quoted item before the submission deadline, failing which the bid shall be rejected. Forms must be completed with typed quoted rates only; any alterations or corrections will render the bid ineligible. Bidders must provide technical and financial bids with specifications and pricing mentioning tender inquiry numbers exactly as listed in the bidding documents.
Bidding documents are available for download from the PPRA website at https://eproc.punjab.gov.pk/ and the Punjab e-Procurement System (eP) at https://ep.punjab.gov.pk/admin/procurement/procurement-activity. Electronic bids must be uploaded and submitted through the Punjab E-Procurement System no later than 10th September 2026 at 10:30 AM. Bids received by the stipulated date and time will be opened on the same day at 11:00 AM in the presence of bidder representatives who wish to attend. Late applications will not be entertained. All bidding shall be conducted strictly as per the Punjab Procurement Rules, 2014 (as amended) and the Punjab Procurement Regulations 2024.
