Description / Scope of Work
WASA Chakwal invites sealed bids for the execution of desilting of sullage carriers and culverts with wench machine and repair of damaged stone masonry drains in different areas of Chakwal city, Punjab. The estimated project cost is Rs. 39,42,998, and the work scope covers multiple drainage improvement activities across Chakwal city. Bidding is open to all contractors registered on E-PADS for the year 2026-27 under the MRS 2nd Bi Annual 2026 cycle. The procurement follows the Single Stage Single Envelope procedure under Punjab Procurement Rules 2014, and all bidding activities are conducted through the E-P System portal.
Eligible bidders must be registered on E-PADS and be contractors authorized to undertake works in Punjab. A mandatory bid security of Rs. 1,97,150 (5% of estimated cost) must be submitted through the E-P System by 11:00 AM on the closing date. If the lowest bid falls below 5% of the estimated cost, the successful bidder must deposit additional performance security ranging from 5% to 10% within 15 days of award notice. Quoted rates must be item-wise, clearly readable, and complete; incomplete, ambiguous, or unfilled bids will be rejected. Conditional tenders, non-responsive bids, corrupted files, and unsigned or unstamped submissions are not acceptable.
Bidding documents are available free of cost from the E-P System portal at https://ep.punjab.gov.pk and on the PPRA Punjab website. Bids must be submitted electronically through the E-P System by 11:00 AM PST on 08-09-2026, and they will be opened at 11:30 AM on the same day at the WASA Chakwal office in the presence of bidders or their representatives. Upon acceptance of the Letter of Intent, the successful bidder must execute an agreement on government-specified stamp paper within seven days for work order issuance.
