Description / Scope of Work
Thalassaemia Patients Welfare Society Nawabshah, located in District Shaheed Benazir Abad, Sindh, invites sealed bids from registered manufacturers, importers, distributors, medical stores and retailers for the day-to-day supply of medicines to deserving and poor thalassaemia patients. This procurement is funded through the Zakat Budget 2026-27 granted by the Zakat and Usher Department, Government of Sindh. The contract period extends until June 2027, with an estimated budget allocation of Rs. 30,000 (Million). The scope encompasses ongoing pharmaceutical supply based on patient demand as determined by the Society's medical requirements throughout the fiscal year.
Bidders must be validly registered with both income tax and sales tax authorities to qualify. A bid security of six percent of the tender value and a non-refundable tender fee of Rs. 1,000 are required. Bidders must provide an attested certificate on judicial stamp paper (Rs. 100) confirming that neither the firm nor any partners have been black-listed. Contractors must demonstrate at least three years of contract experience in supplying medicines to government organizations or hospitals and must hold authentic approved price lists of medicines from recognized pharmaceutical guides.
Bid documents will be issued from the date of publication through 22 August 2026 on cash payment of the tender fee. Sealed bids must be submitted by 11:00 AM on 22 September 2026, with opening scheduled for 12:00 PM on the same date at the Society's office in Nawabshah.
