Description / Scope of Work
Sukkur IBA University invites sealed proposals from eligible engineering consulting firms for the project titled MDS Campus-II (Phase-I)-MV/LV Power Distribution System along with Substation-II at Campus-II in Sukkur, Sindh. The consulting firm will be responsible for designing, detailed supervision, preparation of detailed engineering drawings and bidding documents, and engineer's estimate in accordance with IEC/IEEE standards. The scope encompasses the complete establishment of the MV/LV power distribution system and Substation-II at the university's Campus-II facility in Sukkur. Interested firms must demonstrate relevant experience, qualified personnel, and submit separate technical and financial proposals with references of similar projects.
Eligible consultants must hold valid and active registration with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant category or higher, valid registration with FBR/Income Tax authorities and Sindh Revenue Board (SRB), and possess a minimum of five years of relevant engineering consultancy experience particularly in MV/LV power distribution systems and substation projects. Applicants must demonstrate successful completion of similar consultancy assignments of comparable nature, scope and complexity with audited financial statements for the last five financial years, and must not be blacklisted, debarred, or suspended by any government or semi-government organization. Bid Security of Rs. 500,000/- must be submitted along with the Technical Proposal in the prescribed form. Consortium or Joint Venture is permitted with a clearly identified lead firm.

Sealed proposals must be submitted by 15-09-2026 up to 3:00 pm. Technical proposals will be opened on 15-09-2026 at 3:30 pm before the consultant selection committee in the office of the Project Director Sukkur IBA University, with financial proposals opened after technical evaluation.
