Description / Scope of Work
The Infrastructure Development Authority of the Punjab (IDAP) invites bids for the supply, installation, commissioning and maintenance of surgical instruments on a delivered duty paid (DDP) basis for two major healthcare infrastructure projects: the establishment of a tertiary care hospital, Nishter-II, Multan, and the establishment of a 300-bedded DHQ hospital in Mianwali, both in Punjab province. This is Package No. 53 of a combined procurement exercise. The tender is issued under Tender No. HCP/Combine/Nishter-II-MWL/BME-260818-1/P53 dated 18th August 2026 and represents a comprehensive medical equipment procurement for two significant hospital establishments.
Eligible bidders must register on the Punjab E-Procurement System (punjab.eprocure.gov.pk) to participate. All lots and all items within lots must be quoted by the bidder; any firm failing to quote all lots and items will be disqualified. Bidders are required to furnish bid security in the amount stipulated in Annex-I of the bidding document in Pakistani Rupees. The scanned copy of the bid security must be uploaded on the Punjab e-Procurement System with the technical bid before the submission deadline. This procurement is governed under the Punjab Procurement Rules, 2014, as amended.
The completed bids comprising both technical and financial proposals must be submitted on the Punjab E-Procurement System on or before 15:30 hours PST on 16th September 2026. Technical bids will be opened on the same day at 16:00 hours PST at the Committee Room, Ground Floor, IDAP, 50-B-3 Gulberg III, Lahore, with bidder representatives invited to attend. Detailed electronic RFP documents containing complete requirements, terms and conditions are available for registered bidders on the Punjab E-Procurement System and the PPRA website at http://ppra.punjab.gov.pk. In case of government holidays resulting in office closure on the bid opening date, submission and opening will occur on the next working day at the same time.
