Description / Scope of Work
The Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology invites electronic bids from eligible bidders for the supply of medical and laboratory equipment to meet the requirements of RIC Rawalpindi and NSCC Samli Murree for the financial year 2026-27. This annual procurement is issued under Bid Reference No. RIC/PO/355/26 dated 11-08-2026 and covers a comprehensive range of medical and laboratory equipment. Detailed specifications and quantities of all required materials are provided in the bidding documents, which are available for download from the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority website at http://ppra.punjab.gov.pk, the Punjab E-Procurement System at https://ep.punjab.gov.pk, and the RIC official website at www.ric.gop.pk in English language.
Eligible bidders must register on the Punjab E-Procurement System to participate and are required to provide 2% bid security of the estimated cost of quoted items or lots, with original bid security to be submitted through PSID on the e-procurement platform. Bidders should obtain the revised bidding document (updated version) which includes changes in technical specifications. A pre-bid meeting has been scheduled for 01-09-2026 at 11:00 AM at the Purchase Office of RIC Rawalpindi, with minutes to be uploaded as an addendum to the bidding documents within two days. Items must be quoted in both Technical and Financial Proposals with brand names and generic names clearly specified.
Electronic bids must be submitted online on or before 08-09-2026 at 10:00 AM through the Punjab E-Procurement System at https://ep.punjab.gov.pk. Bid opening will occur on the same day at 10:30 AM in the presence of bidders' representatives at RIC Rawalpindi, Rawal Road. Bid validity is 180 days from the date of opening. Hard copies are not required; only online submissions are accepted. Procurement is governed by Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 (amended) and Punjab Procurement Regulations 2024.
