Description / Scope of Work
The National Grid Company of Pakistan Limited in Lahore, Punjab invites sealed electronic bids for the comprehensive construction and completion of civil works, erection, stringing, testing, and commissioning for the conversion of Tower Numbers 42 and 43 of the 220kV Double Circuit Twin Bundle Transmission Line between Sheikhupura and Ravi. This critical infrastructure project requires specialized technical expertise in transmission line engineering and high-voltage systems. Prospective bidders must possess a valid Pakistan Engineering Council license in Category C-4 or higher and demonstrate a proven track record of completing at least five kilometers of 220kV transmission lines within the last ten years. Financial eligibility includes a minimum average annual turnover of 50 million Rupees and access to liquid assets of at least 20 million Rupees. A bid security of 1.5 million Rupees is mandatory. All technical and financial proposals must be submitted electronically through the e-PADS portal. The deadline for bid submission is 11:00 AM on 18 May 2026, followed by the technical bid opening at 11:30 AM on the same day at the Executive Engineer's office in Allama Iqbal Town.
