Description / Scope of Work
The National Grid Company of Pakistan Limited in Lahore, Punjab invites sealed e-tenders for the specialized construction and completion of civil works, erection, stringing, testing, and commissioning for the conversion of Tower Numbers 42 and 43 on the 220kV Double Circuit Twin Bundle Transmission Line Sheikhupura-Ravi Circuit I and II. This critical infrastructure project involves transitioning these specific towers from suspension type to tension type to ensure grid stability. Eligible bidders must be licensed by the Pakistan Engineering Council in category C-4 or above and demonstrate a minimum average annual turnover of 50 million PKR over the last five years. Furthermore, applicants must have completed at least 5 kilometers of 220kV transmission line work within the last decade. A bid security of 1.5 million PKR is mandatory for participation. Interested firms must purchase the bidding documents for a non-refundable fee of 5,000 PKR and submit their technical and financial proposals through the e-PADS portal. The final deadline for submission is 11:00 AM on 18 May 2026.
