Description / Scope of Work
The Small Dams Division in Islamabad, Federal Government invites sealed bids for the supply, installation, commissioning, and testing of an oil-cooled type, 400 KVA step-down power transformer. The scope of work includes the provision of lifting hooks, thermometers, LT and HT bushings, a 5-step tap changer, and an imported double float Buchholz relay. Bidders are also responsible for all necessary materials required for connections on both high-tension and low-tension sides, including a protective MS box for the LT side. Eligible contractors must ensure the equipment meets WAPDA or IEC specifications with a rated voltage of 11000/415/240 V and a Delta/Star system earth. The transformer must be manufactured by reputable brands such as PEL, Siemens, or Transfopower as approved by the Engineer Incharge. All interested firms must submit their technical and financial proposals by the deadline of May 18, 2026, including all required WAPDA testing charges. This project falls under the Tubewell Sub Division Hassanabdal within the Irrigation Potohar Zone.
