For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT

Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.

NPAK Energy is procuring a complete transformer workshop facility in Hunza — design through commissioning.

The scope encompasses engineering design, equipment supply, installation and testing, suggesting a medium-scale infrastructure project. The August 2026 deadline provides reasonable lead time. Bidders should note the relatively modest bid security (PKR 556k) and NCB procedure, indicating open competition. This appears a one-off capital project rather than a recurring contract. Workshop projects in GB typically face logistical challenges; bidders must assess delivery feasibility to the Hunza location.

Who can bid: The notice does not explicitly state eligibility criteria or registration requirements. Typically, for transformer workshop design and construction projects in Pakistan, bidders must be registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) if private companies, possess valid NTN (National Tax Number), and demonstrate relevant experience in similar electrical/mechanical infrastructure projects. PEC registration may be required if civil works are substantial.
