he Pakistan Institute of Development Economics in Islamabad, Federal Government invites sealed e-tenders from reputable insurance and takaful companies for the provision of comprehensive group health insurance services. This procurement aims to provide medical coverage for PIDE employees and their families, categorized into four distinct groups ranging from BPS 01 to 19 and above. The scope includes annual limits up to 3.5 million Rupees per family for senior staff, with specific provisions for daily room and board, maternity benefits, and outpatient department coverage fixed at 100,000 Rupees per family. Additional benefits cover specialized investigations like MRI and CT scans, as well as 30 days of pre and post-hospitalization diagnostic tests. To be eligible, participating firms must be registered with the FBR and SECP, hold a minimum credit rating of A or AA, and maintain a network of at least ten panel hospitals in the twin cities. Technical and financial proposals must be submitted electronically through the EPADS v2.0 portal by 11:00 AM on 18 May 2026, following the single stage two envelope bidding procedure.
