Description / Scope of Work
The Neelum Forest Circle, Forest Department Azad Kashmir in Muzaffarabad, Federal Government invites sealed bids from registered A and B class contractors for the extraction and transportation of timber. The project involves moving marked dry standing and fallen trees, as well as prepared logs and sleepers, from various forest compartments including Compartment 04 Sankhala and 107 Ashkot. The extracted timber must be transported to specified sale depots in Muzaffarabad and Athmuqam. Contractors who have renewed their registration for the 2025-26 financial year are eligible to participate. Bidders must include a 2% security deposit of the total contract value and provide proof of ownership for specialized 4X4 trucks as part of the technical requirements. The scope of work includes all loading, unloading, and transit activities, with 75% of the timber designated for delivery to the UT Division Muzaffarabad. Interested parties must submit their sealed single-envelope tenders by 02:00 PM on 19 May 2026, which will be opened on the same day at 02:30 PM in the presence of representatives.
