The Karachi Water & Sewerage Corporation in Karachi, Sindh invites sealed tenders for the installation of a 40KVA Solar Power System. This project is specifically designed to power underground tube wells at seven RO plants located in Keamari and Lyari under the Operation and Maintenance project. The procurement aims to transition critical water infrastructure to renewable energy, ensuring a more sustainable and cost-effective power supply for local water distribution. The estimated cost for the work is approximately 58.3 million Rupees. Bidders must be registered with the relevant tax authorities and possess valid PEC registration in categories suitable for solar power installations. The bidding process follows the Sindh Public Procurement Rules 2010. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 2.9 million Rupees. Proposals must be uploaded via the EPADS website or submitted to the office of the Executive Engineer by 2:00 PM on 20 May 2026.
