Description / Scope of Work
The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) in Islamabad, Federal Government invites sealed electronic bids for the disposal of various scrap materials and surplus electrical equipment on an as-is-where-is basis. The inventory for disposal includes significant quantities of iron scrap, aluminum cable of various sizes, meter scrap, and damaged electrical components such as 11kV outgoing panels, AC/DC panels, and capacitor panels. The materials are located at the IESCO Regional Stores in Wah and Rawalpindi. Interested bidders must be registered on the EPADS v2.0 portal to participate in the bidding process. Each lot requires a specific earnest money or bid security deposit, ranging from 130,000 to 1,800,000 Rupees, which must be submitted as per the instructions in the disposal notice. All bids must be submitted through the EPADS system no later than 10:30 AM on 25 May 2026. The public opening of the electronic bids is scheduled for 11:00 AM on the same day, providing a transparent opportunity for firms and individuals to acquire industrial scrap and decommissioned electrical infrastructure.
