Description / Scope of Work
The District Council Chakwal in Chakwal, Punjab invites sealed bids for pre-monsoon precautionary arrangements to mitigate flood risks. The primary scope of work involves the desilting of various drains and nullahs within the jurisdiction of District Council Chakwal, Talagang, and relevant Northern Areas (NS). This critical municipal maintenance project is designed to ensure smooth water flow and prevent urban flooding during the upcoming monsoon season. The estimated budget for these services is 10 million Rupees. Bidders must be registered on the E-PADS system for the financial year 2025-26 and comply with the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014. A bid security of 5 percent (500,000 PKR) in the form of a CDR or Pay Order from a scheduled bank is required. The bidding follows a Single Stage Single Envelope procedure. Interested contractors must submit their technical and financial proposals through the E-PADS portal no later than 02:00 PM on 20 May 2026, with the bid opening session scheduled for 12:30 PM the same day at the District Council office.
