Description / Scope of Work
The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Sahiwal invites sealed bids on a single lot basis for the hiring of services of a firm for the provision of skilled drivers. The tender is issued under reference number 225/Transport dated 14-05-2026. The contract duration is one year with an option to extend for a further one year on mutual understanding and same rates. The estimated cost of the contract is PKR 3,889,109 with a bid security requirement of PKR 194,455 equivalent to 5% of the estimated cost. The service procurement is for the Sahiwal region in Punjab province and requires bidders to be duly registered firms with relevant tax authorities and possessing active taxpayer profiles and adequate experience in providing skilled driver services.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Inland Revenue and Sales Tax departments and must possess active taxpayer status and demonstrated experience in providing driver hiring services. The bid security must be submitted in the form of a CDR (Bank Draft) or Pay Order drawn in favor of the Secretary, Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Sahiwal. Bids without proper bid security or call deposit shall be declared non-responsive and summarily rejected. Tender documents are available immediately from the date of publication and can be downloaded free of cost from the websites of PPRA Punjab, EPADS, or BISE Sahiwal.
Tenders must be submitted online exclusively through EPADS (e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System) on or before 04-06-2026 at 11:00 AM. Online opening of bids will take place on the same day at 11:30 AM in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. Hand submissions, registered post, or courier service submissions will not be accepted. Bid validity is 90 days from the last submission date. Bidding is conducted under the Single Stage - Two Envelope procedure per Rule 38(2)(a) of the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014.
