Description / Scope of Work
The Irrigation Department, Government of the Punjab, Gujranwala Canal Division invites sealed bids for the resectioning of Gobindpura Minor Road, from 0+000 to 71+700 tail, located in Gujranwala. The estimated cost of the work is Rs. 2,424,978 with bid security set at Rs. 121,249, representing five percent of the estimated cost. This infrastructure rehabilitation project is being procured under the Single Stage Single Envelope bidding procedure on an item rate basis within the 1st Bi-Annual Market Rate System (January to June 2026) as per PPRA e-Tendering System and Punjab Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS), in accordance with PPRA Rules 2014 as amended.
Only engineering firms and contractors registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) holding the CE-04 specialization code and listed with the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) are eligible to participate. Bidders must be registered with Punjab PPRA and possess valid registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council for the year 2025-26. Bid security must be submitted in the form of a Bank Guarantee or Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) from a scheduled bank in favour of the Executive Engineer, Gujranwala Canal Division. All intending contractors must upload earnest money along with their bid on the EPADS website by 03.06.2026 up to 02:00 PM, with an attested copy of PEC registration license submitted to the Tender Opening Committee.
Bidding documents and tender notices containing detailed requirements are available free of cost on the EPADS website at www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk and www.punjab.eprocure.gov.pk. Bids must be submitted exclusively through the EPADS portal; manual submissions will not be accepted. The tender opening will occur on 03.06.2026 at 02:30 PM at the office of the Executive Engineer, Gujranwala Canal Division, where responsive bidders' quoted rates will be announced.
