Description / Scope of Work
The Quaid-e-Azam Medical College and Allied Institutions in Bahawalpur invite sealed bids from eligible suppliers for the procurement of Maintenance and Repair (M&R) store items for the financial year 2026-27. This framework contract-based procurement covers a wide range of store and allied items required by QAMC, BVH, S.A. Hospital, PIC, and the College of Nursing in Bahawalpur, Punjab. The estimated cost of the coated items is Rs. 78,953,794. The tender will be processed through E-PADs and follows the two-envelope procedure (Technical and Financial bids) as per Punjab Procurement Rules 2014.
Eligible bidders must be registered with relevant authorities such as the Federal Board of Revenue (Income Tax), Sales Tax Department, and Punjab Sales Tax authorities. Firms already under disciplinary action, defaulters, or those blacklisted by any public sector organisation cannot participate. A bid security of 2% of the estimated cost in the form of a Deposit at Call (CDR) from a scheduled bank is mandatory. The performance guarantee will be 5% of the contract value in the shape of CDR or Bank Guarantee valid for two years. Bidders must provide their lowest and final price as per-unit rates without further negotiation.
Tender documents containing detailed specifications and terms can be obtained from the PPRA website (www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk) and E-PADs sites. The original earnest money (bid security) must be submitted with the financial bid. Bids must be submitted before 11:00 AM on 10-06-2026, with opening scheduled for the same date at 11:30 AM. All procurement activities shall be governed by the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 (amended).
