Description / Scope of Work
National Grid Company of Pakistan Limited (NGC) invites competitive bids on an open single-stage one-envelope procedure from eligible firms registered with the Federal Board of Revenue for eleven civil engineering and infrastructure works across multiple grid stations in Pakistan. The works include replacement of existing gravel at 500 kV Grid Station NGC Rawat with bid security PKR 1,080,000; construction of two watch towers at 220 kV Grid Station NGC Shabagh Peshawar valued at PKR 100,500; protection of transmission line towers at various locations including Islamabad-Shahdagh, Nisatum-Jhelum-Karot-Nadikar, and Sheikh Muhammad Peshawar; construction of parking facilities for 6 vehicles at 220 kV Grid Station NGC Mardan; construction of fire wall at 500 kV Grid Station Sheikh Muhammad Peshawar; construction of trench for cable laying in Islamabad; reconstruction of boundary walls at residential bungalows in Rawat; and repair of VIP suits at 220 kV University Grid Station Bairaklaha. All works fall under the jurisdiction of NGC's civil engineering division based in Islamabad, Sector H-8/2.
Bidders must be registered as active taxpayers with the Federal Board of Revenue and both provincial and federal sales tax departments to be eligible for participation. Bid security shall be submitted in the form of a deposit call or bank guarantee issued by a scheduled bank in Pakistan in favor of the Civil Division, NGC, valid for up to twenty-eight days beyond the bid validity date. The competent authority reserves the right to reject any bids and annul the bidding process at any time prior to contract award as per Public Procurement Rules 2004.
Bid documents may be obtained and inspected at NGC's office located at Sector H-8/2, Islamabad during working hours. All bids must be submitted through the E-PADS portal on or before June 3, 2026, at 11:00 AM PST, with original hard copy submission required before the closing deadline. Bids will be opened at 11:30 AM PST on the same day in the presence of bidders' representatives.
