Description / Scope of Work
Port Qasim Authority, Bin Qasim Karachi, invites sealed tenders from eligible firms registered with the Federal Board of Revenue and Sindh Revenue Board for the procurement of one Coffin Carrier Bus (CXL) complete with an open cab design and comprehensive specifications. The tender encompasses technical and financial proposals and is issued under the supervision of the Port Qasim Authority management. Tender documents are available for collection from the Manager Planning and Development office, Port Qasim Authority, during office hours 09:00 AM to 16:00 PM Monday to Thursday on payment of Rs 500. Bid documents may also be downloaded from the Port Qasim Authority website at www.pqa.gov.pk.
Eligible bidders must submit technically qualified proposals along with a scheduled finish having a minimum bid security of Rs 1,000,000 (Rupees one million) as a bid security amount. Bidders should be registered with Karachi and have successfully completed similar projects in the past. Technical proposals must be submitted in sealed envelopes clearly marked "Technical Proposal" at Port Qasim Authority Head Office Admin Building No.11 by 11:00 hours on the specified closing date. Only technically qualified bidders shall be shortlisted for opening of financial proposals in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives.
Financial proposals of technically qualified bidders shall be opened in the presence of bidders at a later date and time to be intimated subsequently. Port Qasim Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids as per Public Procurement Rules 2004. Tender submission and evaluation shall follow all applicable regulations.
