Description / Scope of Work
The River Diversion Division, Muzaffargarh, is procuring flood preparedness and flood fighting materials for the anticipated flood season of 2026. The procurement encompasses essential equipment and supplies needed for emergency response and flood mitigation operations across the K.F.B Section and R.G.B Section in Punjab. The Bill of Quantities includes twenty-five line items valued at the rates to be quoted by contractors, covering a comprehensive range of flood management materials and emergency response equipment required for effective disaster preparedness.
The procurement includes search lights, energy-saving lighting equipment, water coolers, life-saving jackets, umbrellas, rain coats, labour jackets, steel charpai, portable umbrellas, pedestal fans with solar power systems, chuldari items, chair sets with tables, emergency medical kits, extension cables, polyethylene sheets, generators, bamboos, PVC insulated copper conductor cables, sewing needles, jute and plastic bags, walkie talkie sets, utensils and dishware. The items are specified with exact quantities and unit measurements to ensure proper inventory management for emergency deployment during flood situations.
Bid documents will be provided upon request to qualified contractors meeting the prescribed eligibility criteria and holding relevant business registration and tax certificates. Contractors must submit sealed bids in accordance with procurement guidelines and rules applicable to government contracts in Punjab. The bids will be opened on the specified date at the office of the River Diversion Division in Muzaffargarh.
