Description / Scope of Work
The District & Sessions Judge, Chiniot invites sealed competitive e-bids for the installation of 22 units of 04 kilowatt hybrid solar power systems (off-grid) under the Single Stage Two Envelopes Procedure as per Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 with subsequent amendments. The estimated project cost is Rs 20,900,000 with a bid security requirement of 5 percent of the estimated amount, equivalent to Rs 1,045,000. This procurement aims to supply and install hybrid solar systems at the sessions court in Chiniot, with 05 units of 04 kilowatt hybrid solar systems at sub-division Lalian and 05 units at sub-division Bhowana, to be completed within 15 days after issuance of purchase orders. Bidders must be well-reputed and financially sound firms with previous experience in the specific field, and participation is restricted to entities duly licensed by the Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant category.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council and other relevant bodies. The entire contractor must be duly licensed by PEC; for joint ventures, the lead partner must be registered in category C-6 and above with other members having at least C-5 registration. PPRA Rules and their clarifications are strictly applicable. Bid security of 5 percent of estimated cost must be submitted in a sealed envelope one hour before the submission deadline; the successful bidder will deposit an amount equivalent to 10 percent of total contract value as performance guarantee.
Interested bidders and contractors can obtain published tender documents through the E-PAD portal at http://epad.punjab.gov.pk and upload their rates through the same system. Manual rates are not acceptable. Bids must be uploaded, fully completed, signed and stamped via E-PAD until the closing date of 04 June 2026 at 11:00 am; bids will be opened at 11:30 am on the same day or the next working day if a public holiday is observed. The original bid security must be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to the District & Sessions Judge, Chiniot, and reached by the closing date.
