Description / Scope of Work
Municipal Committee Shakargarh invites percentage and item rate tenders for the desilting and cleaning of nullahs in the city of Shakargarh under SAP-VII Phase II. The estimated contract value is Rs. 48,86,000/- and the work is to be executed according to Technical Specification (TS) rates as per MRS 1st Biannual 2026. This tender is for drainage maintenance and environmental sanitation work covering the municipal city limits of Shakargarh, Punjab.
Eligible contractors must quote their rates both in numerical and written form on a percentage or item rate basis above or below the engineer's estimate. If a contractor's quoted lowest tender rate exceeds 5% of the estimated cost, they are required to deposit additional performance security from a scheduled bank within 15 days of notice issuance. A 5% bid security (CDR deposit) is compulsory at the time of tendering. Conditional, unsigned, incomplete, mutilated, or doubtful bids will be summarily rejected. The competent authority reserves the right to reject all bids at any stage before tender approval.
Bid documents are available on the EPADS portal and PPRA website, and can be obtained from the MO(I) branch for reading and uploading. Bids must be submitted electronically on EPADS until 09-06-2026 at 10:00 AM. The tender opening committee will open all received bids on the same date at 1:00 PM at the Municipal Committee Shakargarh office in the presence of available contractors or their authorized representatives.
