Description / Scope of Work
The Municipal Committee Shorkot, operating under the Local Government and Community Development Department of the Government of Punjab, invites sealed bids for the execution of a comprehensive infrastructure development scheme in Shorkot, Punjab. The project encompasses repair, maintenance and construction works including drain repairs, sewerage systems, manhole installation, culverts, iron grills, PVC piping, tuff tile laying, reinforced cement concrete, precast concrete slabs, manhole covers, steel frames, manhole hozie components, stone dust and patch work throughout the Muharram Routs area of MC Shorkot for the fiscal year 2026. The estimated project cost is Pakistani Rupees 1,935,000 with a bid security requirement of 96,750 rupees representing five percent of the estimated cost.
All contractors and manufacturing firms registered with the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) and enlisted in the PPRA/e-PADS system are eligible to participate in this open e-Tendering procurement process. Bids must be accompanied by a valid security deposit in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt from a scheduled bank in Punjab. The bidding is conducted following the Single Stage Single Envelope procedure as prescribed under the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 as amended. Contractors must fulfill all compliance requirements and submit original Call Deposit Receipts within fifteen days of tender opening. Submission of false or forged documents will result in disqualification and blacklisting by PPRA and the Municipal Committee.
Bid documents containing detailed terms and conditions are available free of cost for download from the e-PADS portal at https://punjab.eprocure.gov.pk. Bidders must submit their sealed bids electronically on the same portal by 11:00 AM PST on June 13, 2026. The tender will be opened at 11:30 AM on the same date in the presence of bidders' representatives at the Municipal Committee Shorkot office. Successful bidders must execute the contract agreement on stamped paper within seven days of receiving the acceptance letter and work order from the Municipal Committee.
