Description / Scope of Work
Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Sheikhupura invites sealed competitive bids from registered contractors and firms for repairing and raising missing manhole chamber covers and desilting of sullage carrier and nullah infrastructure across different localities of Sheikhupura City Zone-A. The total estimated project cost is Rs. 14,962,222 and the work encompasses sanitation and water infrastructure maintenance critical to the city's drainage and sewerage systems. The project is being procured for the financial year 2025-26 in Punjab and is published for open competition among qualified and registered entities.
Bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and also registered on E-PAD as per Government of Punjab directions. All participating contractors and firms must possess valid PEC licenses and submit their original Earnest Money in the form of CDR (Crossed Demand Draft) at five percent of the estimated cost, amounting to Rs. 748,111, in favour of the Deputy Director-I (O&M) WASA Sheikhupura. Original CDR must be submitted within half an hour before bid opening, and failure to do so will result in disqualification or non-responsive status.
Bid documents can be obtained from the office of WASA Sheikhupura located at 22 College Road Civil Lines Sheikhupura. Sealed bids must be submitted on E-PAD portal (www.punjab.eprocure.gov.pk) on item rate basis with a closing deadline of 13-06-2026 at 11:00 AM, and opening will occur the same day at 01:00 PM through the Tender Opening Committee.
