Description / Scope of Work
Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Sheikhupura invites sealed tender bids for the repairing and raising of missing manhole chamber covers and desilting of sullage carriers and nullahs at different localities across Zone-B of Sheikhupura city, Punjab. The project is valued at Rs. 14,729,822 and covers essential sanitation infrastructure maintenance across multiple urban areas. WASA Sheikhupura, headquartered at 22 College Road, Civil Lines, Sheikhupura, is issuing this procurement notice for works in the financial year 2025-26.
Bidders must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and listed on the E-PAD portal as per Government of Punjab directions. A valid PEC license must be submitted in the office of WASA Sheikhupura on or before June 13, 2026 at 11:00 AM. Bid security equivalent to 5 percent of the estimated cost, amounting to Rs. 736,491, is mandatory and must be submitted in the form of a CDR (Certified Deposit Receipt) from a scheduled bank. Original CDR documentation is compulsory and must reach the office of the Deputy Director (O&M) WASA Sheikhupura by the tender opening deadline. In case the total tendered amount falls below 5 percent of the approved estimate, the lowest bidders must deposit additional performance security from a scheduled bank within 10 days of notice issuance.
Bid documents are available for purchase from WASA Sheikhupura offices. Tenders will be opened on the same day at 1:00 PM by the Tender Opening Committee through E-PAD. The tender validity period is 12 days from the date of notice. Interested contractors should submit their earnest money deposits and all required documentation online via the E-PAD portal.
