Description / Scope of Work
District Council Thatta invites online competitive bids from registered contractors, firms and parties for the execution of 41 civil infrastructure and development works across multiple union councils in Thatta district, Sindh. The tender encompasses a diverse portfolio of projects including water supply schemes with bore wells and solar systems, construction of culverts and katcha roads, paving block installations, sewerage lines, community centres, hand pumps, and miscellaneous civil works. The total estimated cost of all projects ranges from Rs 507,500 to Rs 3,000,000 per individual work, with an aggregate contract value exceeding Rs 75 million. Works are distributed across various union councils including Sonda, Gujjo, Mehal, Indo, Mehar, Gulail, Jungshahi, Doomani, Girnar, Bijora, Jaradali, Sukhpur, Chowbandi, Ketibunder, Jhirrick, Khan, Baghan, and Dubo. All projects are scheduled for completion within six months.
Bidders must be registered with the relevant regulatory authorities and possess valid contractor licenses from SPPRA or equivalent provincial bodies. Earnest money deposits of 5 percent of the estimated cost must accompany each bid. The tender is being processed under Rule 17(1) of the SPPRA 2010 regulations through the electronic procurement system EPADS. Interested bidders should ensure they meet all eligibility requirements and possess technical capacity to execute assigned works within the stipulated timeframe.
