Description / Scope of Work
The National Grid Company (NGC), through its Project Director EHV-II based in Hyderabad, Sindh, invites bids for the replacement of normal disc insulators with RTV (Room Temperature Vulcanising) coated disc insulators at tower locations 226 to 234 of the NPP-03 project. This is a works contract tendered on a national basis using a single stage-one envelope bidding methodology. The project aims to upgrade insulator performance in the electrical transmission network by replacing standard disc insulators with advanced RTV coated variants, which offer superior pollution and environmental resistance. The scope encompasses complete removal of existing insulators and installation of new RTV coated disc insulators across the specified tower locations in Sindh province.
Bidders must meet eligibility criteria including relevant experience in similar electrical utility works, valid business registration, and applicable licenses for electrical transmission infrastructure projects. A bid security declaration is required as per tender specifications.
