Description / Scope of Work
Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGC), a major utility provider in Pakistan, invites sealed quotations for the supply of 200,000 meter locks as per specification number 03/2011 issued by the Recovery Department. This procurement is conducted under single stage one envelope bidding procedure in accordance with PPRA Rules 2004. The tender is open to qualified suppliers and will be evaluated on a lowest technically and commercially compliant basis. The required delivery schedule is 40,000 locks per month, indicating a sustained supply requirement for gas utility operations across Sindh province.
Suppliers must be active on the FBR Active Tax Payer List (ATL) to be eligible for participation. A fixed bid bond (earnest money) of PKR 700,000 is mandatory, and all quotations must be submitted in Pakistani Rupees. Quoted prices shall be inclusive of all duties, taxes, and any discounts except General Sales Tax (GST), which will be reimbursed to manufacturers and importers upon production of paid invoices. Bidders are required to quote exclusively on the provided bid form; quotations on any other format will not be entertained. All offers must remain valid for 120 days from the bid opening date, with bid bond validity extended to 150 days.
Bid documents are available for purchase from the Tender Room at SSGC Head Office, CRD Building, Ground Floor, located in Karachi at the SSGC Head office complex (postal code 75300). Sealed quotations must be submitted by 17 June 2026 at 10:00 hours, with bid opening scheduled for the same day at 10:30 hours.
